Not only is live performance essential to help young artists hone their musicial skills, it also helps them develop self-confidence that translates to many aspects of life. NCCMI believes in providing our students as many opportunities to perform as possible. Beyond our performance reviews, spring concerts, and master classes, students have the opportunity to present outreach and pop-up concerts as a variety of venues. In recent years, NCCMI students have provided performances for many local groups, including:

  • Wake County libraries
  • The North Carolina Museum of Art
  • Local retirement communities
  • The North Carolina governor’s mansion
  • Local churches
